Dr. Howard (Howie) Levinson received his under graduate degree in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland. Upon graduation from the U of Maryland he completed an internship through the Kodak School of Dentistry in the Genesee Hospital in Rochester, New York, his original home town. Here Dr. Levinson was the on-call dentist for any emergencies that the hospital experienced requiring dental intervention. This provided him with a first hand understanding of the medical issues that patients manifest and how medical conditions inter-relate with the dental setting.
After graduating, Dr. Levinson set up his private practice in Masedon, NY, a small town near Rochester. He practiced in Masedon for 13 years before moving to Phoenix, AZ where he continued to practice dentistry. In 2005 he opened the office on Happy Valley and I-17, upgraded the office with the latest technology and equipment and is actively involved in neighborhood activities and events.
Dr. Levinson is a member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association and OSAP (Office Safety & Asepsis Procedures). He regularly participates with the Arizona Dental Board as an Investigative Interviewer in a peer review process to regulate dentists who have received complaints from their patients regarding standard of care.
Dr.Howie is a compassionate, caring professional who puts the patient's needs first. You won't feel like you are being 'sold' dental services.
